Question: Why do people feel the need to disclose too much personal information to people they don't know?

Particularly information regarding sex. A few minutes ago I was on the elevator with a woman I don't even know. We both greeted one another and then she started talking about the sex she had with her boyfriend yesterday. But this is just one of many cases. I have coworkers I don't even know very well who will just start blatantly talking about what they like and don't like in bed.

Some people are very blunt. Or maybe they feel comfortable talking to you and feel like they can trust you.
