Question: What can you say when someone asked you for personal information?

Over the phone....a friend....and you say.. "I am not allowed to give that out! "...and your friend says ... "why not "...so i repeat myself...I am not allowed to give it out...WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER.?...we hung up...

NO! You don't need to explain, anyone who would ask it needs to know in no uncertain terms that somethings in life are private. Or say when I feel ready to talk about it I will. Right now I don't want to talk about it.

Ok first off who is the friend. if this person is some random girl on the internet taht you have no idea bout, then dont give personal info. i actually tell them that i cant say it. if they dont respect that then i usually dont talk to them anymore. if theyre a good friend online and they dont respect it, i dont budge. we may remain friends but if they can't accept the fact that im not going to tell them this personal info then poo on their face. i donno how else to say it O.o

When someone is asking you something that you don't feel comfortable answering, turn the tables and politely ask them "why do you want to know "? Chances are, they won't have a valid explanation other than they "just wanted to know ". This way, you can change the subject without being put on the spot. I hate when people try to get nosy with me! Even good friends need to maintain a respectful attitude toward your personal life. And only you can decide what's personal to you. No explanation needed!
