If you call a hotel and ask about a specific room and the tenants, are they able to release such information?
I would like to call a hotel and inquire about a specific room on a specific date, knowing one guest, but needing to know about the possibility of others. Are they able to legally release that information to me?Also, after reading the responses, I did realize names are not going to be available. What I need is the possibility of one or more people being there at that time. With respects to why, I'd rather not release any information to the hotel.

I was talking to a friend in San Francisco. He was telling me how the people in San Francisco are sooo stuck up. I asked what he ment and asked how they're stuck up. he said for instance, if he's in a line at a store and the person in front of him turns around to look around and they make eye contact, the person in front of him doesn't say hello, rather he or she just turns back around. I asked him , wtf...how the hell does that make him or her stuck up. you're a total stranger to him or her and that the person in front of him does not owe him a hello nor does that person have to strike a convo with him.My friend was like well, its nice to say hi to people, and its nice to talk to people rather then being so closed. I was like but that's their choice, I personally find it extremely strange that strangers want to talk to other strangers. When i walk pass these three security guards from the metro to my home, they always stare at me and mumble among themselve about how i walk pass them and never say hello. Im like why the hell is it so important that I say hello or goodbye to them..they seriously need to get a life and if they're that desparate for attention and acknowledgement, seek for friends. ...omg.

Information about unmarried mothers in the 1950's?
I can't find much information about out of wedlock pregnancies in the 1950's. I know they were frowned upon, and I've heard a little about the " homes" that the mothers often went to, but beyond that I can't find much.
