When home owners shoot and killed intruders, why people defend the thieves - they have rights not be harmed?
Texas law say home owners can kill intruders or robbers. Why humans defend the actions of thieves or bad guys? Do they think the thieves deserve to robbed and raped or kill home owners and get away with it and not let the home owner defend themselves?Is this some religious rule that one cannot defend oneself and treat thieves like human beings they need to be saved?Is this the reason why it is OK for thieves or bad guys to steal, rape, kill, your family because there is a god that is going to judge every bad guys or gals? As an atheist, I support the home owners that defend and even killed the bad guys invading their homes. Thieves think they can steal and steal and rape and kill. That is their occupation. They need to do bad things to survive. So, they believe they have rights too like any employee. When you shoot them when they are caught stealing or on their jobs they can sue you in court for harm. Pretty funy but true. I think this is because of believers.How do a homeonwer know if they intruder is armed or not? Or what are their intentions? Home owners do not know this in advance since the bad guys never tell anyone that they are coming in with arms or no arms.I think it is a good law for home owners be able to shoot thieves. Maybe shoot them in the legs to disbled them unless they seem to be too close.
Every time a sales person comes 2 our house ppl always ask if my wife is the "home owner"are they being racist?
We live in a mostly white, expensive neighborhood, My wife is black & they always ask if she's the home owner....They never ask me that. Do they think she's the Maid? Leave a Paper telling them I will be around at a certain time and ask if they can leave out food.

But atleast our hearts are at peace knowing that there is no interest and no riba.I agree with you, you should be realistic Loan is just a burden that you will regret for the rest of your life.

What would you make of this notice from our homeowners association?We have a city code in which it's illegal to have a basketball hoop in the street. We had some people rent the house next to us this spring, and turn the neighborhood into a public rec center by leaving a hoop in the street. There have been huge crowds, profanity, screaming, pounding of balls as early as 6am, graffiti and glass on the street, even drugs. We've tried to get the ordinance enforced, and it's been a struggle. The people keep hiding the hoop when they get notices, then pass their inspection and put the hoop back out. We have to reopen the complaint, which takes two months. We had asked the homeowners association to send out a letter at one point and they refused. I think the renters have a friend with the homeowners association. Today we got a flyer about an upcoming homeowners meeting. At the end it said " We have invited Edgar from Code Enforcement to answer discuss any questions or concerns you may have regarding city restrictions." What do you make of that? I feel like maybe it's in support of the people with the hoop, since I can't get any help from the home owners association and these people have gotten away with this for so long. What's your impression of the notice mentioning a discussion of code enforcement?p.s. didn't know where exactly to post this, but since I'm asking for an interpretation of meaning, ettiquite responders seem to be good at that.
