How can i find someone's criminal records w/o paying ?
My boyfriend have a criminal record?
I'm 25 and my boyfriend is 30 and we've been dating now for 6 years. The other day I decided to do a criminal background check on him and I learned that he used to sell drugs and got busted in 1997 and served 5 years in jail. He never told me about this but he is a great boyfriend and a hard working man now. The reason I checked in the first place is because he's always telling me that I helped change his life & by meeting me that i've kept him out of trouble.Should I ask him why did he hide this from me or should I just leave it alone?livewire9 We just bought a house together about 1 1 2 years ago and we've been living together since. I'm just shocked that he didn't trust me enough to tell me I guess.
If someone from outside the U.S. have a criminal record, does that mean that person gets refused entry?

Okay, so my dad goes to apply for a job, and they do a criminal background check and turn him down because they found a possession conviction from 1980, and he said that he didn't have any criminal record. Now the problem is, that he never was convicted of it. He remembers the incident, but never went to court on it. He's called the jurisdiction where it happened at, and they said they don't have any records past 97, and he talked to NCIC and they said that he pled guilty to it and had 5 years probation. Now he's looking at trying to get the record expunged, and I'm sitting here telling him to raise hell about it and get it completely removed, cuz he was denied basically all of his rights when it comes to a conviction. Any criminal defense prosecuting attorneys or someone who has had a similar situation know any options here? Who to talk to about it, whatever? Asking in R& S cuz I'm not likely to get an answer in a more suitable forum For Harry Ball that's the problem, he never did plead guilty to it, he never stood before a judge at all concerning itFor Socrates I will reiterate, he never went to court in any way shape or form he didn't plead guilty at all, but they are saying that he did there are no court transcripts or anything saying that he was even IN the courtroom and yes, i have been to court and know that you have to stand there with the judge for the guilty plea, you can't just do it from your computer Socrates Well, it's hard for me to see how you can lie about something you had no clue about. the first he knew about a conviction for this was about 2 days ago, 29 years after the incident. And the employers issue was whether or not there was a CONVICTION, not an ACCUSATION, which are two completely different things

OK, I met a guy online over the weekend and we've been sending flirty texts and chatting on IM back and forth with each other. I sorta like him, but the problem is he's been convicted of a felony and was in jail up until recently. He also has a boyfriend that's also currently in jail.
