Race on background checks?
If you are mixed race does it show what percentage of each race you are? e.g if you are 3 4 white, 1 4 indian does it show that or would it just say white indian if you get what i mean

Why don't public schools require some sort of background check on their volunteers?
I am volunteering this Friday at my local elementary school and it just boggles my mind that a school with a lock out system we live near the location of the Amish schoolhouse shooting of '06 would not require their volunteers any sort of criminal check. I'm not a parent, just a college student volunteering at a school function with children as young as kindergarten and the only requirements they ask of me is to wear a name tag, and park in a certain lot. No background check was required. I had to have a criminal background check for volunteering with boy scouts girl scouts in the past, so why don't public schools do the same?

Freemasons do background checks?
Preparing to apply for membership as a Freemason and I noticed that they ask for your SSN on the application, and that you have to be of a high moral character. I'm not worried about my past they can do a check if they want , but I was just wondering if they do conduct a background check, and if so, is that legal? They make no mention of it on their application.Thanks.

Ok. A very long time ago when I was about 18 or 19 I met my ex boyfriend and we had one child at the time. He was 22 then. Im now 29 years. To get to the point we broke up and I need help with my daughter money wise.So one day he asked me to meet him at his hotel room I should add he was stay in an efficiency as I had put him out of my home . I went with my daughter big mistake and went to his room. about 30 minutes into us being thieir a guy knocks at the door. He was a undercover cop. Needless to say my ex had been " trapping" or dealing drugs out of hte room. We both went to jail. My mother came to get my dauhgter before I left though. I now have a felony record. My first time ever even being in trouble. Now I am having trouble finding and apartment complex that will take me with this stain following me aound. Im in one now but I want to move.Do they all do background checks now? This one I moved into said they did and just took a chance on me. Thank GOD. But now Im ready for more space. Anybody know of a search I can do to find apartments that dont do backgound checks? PLEASE HELP.
Background Checks for Sunday School Teachers?
Hi everyone. This is my first time posting here, but I've been lurking for a while. You really seem to have a great community here with lots of great religious views. I'm the Pastor of a small Interdenominational Christian Community, and am in the process of aquiring a new larger building. Here my staff is going to grow quite a bit, and we have lots of new people joining and volunteering.I'm ecstatic to see everyone so enthusiastic to help, and I really need the help and everyone seems to be genuine great people, but my only concern is having people around children without first screening the backgrounds. Of course I'm not just going to screen new people, I plan to be fair and screen absolutely everyone so nobody feels singled out. I already told the members that I would do this before starting Sunday School classes and everyone agreed that it was absolutely important to do and volunteered their information for screening. Now I have all the info from the members, but I'm not sure where the best place is to get it checked.Does anyone have any good advice for a good website that does " background checks" , " comprehensive background reports" , " Employee Screening" , or anything like that. Maybe even one that specifically helps Religious Organizations for this purpose?Now please don't take this the wrong way. I don't plan to shun people from my church because if I didn't believe people could change I wouldn't be running a church in the first place, but I'm not going to let just anyone teach Sunday School Classes, Camp, or go on field trips with the children.sorry for the long winded question, and thanks for your help in advance.God Blessthanks for the quick responses.I have filed with the Department of Legal Affairs, and they do normally take care of this kind of thing, but they are taking too long. It's already been 6 months and I'm getting the run around. I'm going to open soon and need a faster more reliable resource.The police department isn't much more help. they can only do local and aren't fast enough from what I hear. I have several officers of the law that worship with us. I'm sorry I didn't include that in my original question.I do trust in God, and I do trust my friends through Christ, but this is a matter of child safety, and there is NO harm in it, so I don't see the problem.
