If voting member of religious organization/church dont want to share personal information, what is the rule?
i dont want to share my personal information but want to be a voting member
Do you add your personal information on the resume? Age? Sex? Nationality? Marital Status? Kids?
OK. Obviously that's not done in the USA, that's where I was educated. But in the middle East, they require this information. Perhaps even in Britain. What do you do if the interviewer's first reaction to you is You should have written your age down and your sex being female ? I honestly got offended, and became officially defensive. Could I have handled this better? Though I couldn't gulp down the interviewer's pretentious I know better attitude towards me.....you know.
Is it wrong to share painful personal information with others...?
What sort of personal information do Mormon missionaries keep in their Investigator Records?
Wondering specifically what kind of information aside from name, address etc.Likes? Dislikes? Personality? Doubts about the church?Any ex missionaries out there? Would appreciate a very honest answer. Thanks
Is it advisable to give personal information to people you don't know?
Identity theft is RAMPANT in America. I can only guess what it might be like in the UK or Canada or elsewhere in the world. I have been called a trouble maker for urging others especially friendly senior citizens to think twice before they join chat groups & share info on the internet. THE WORLD IS ABLE TO READ EVERYTHING THAT IS POSTED. Con Artists, thieves, & dishonest people gather information DAILY in hopes they can learn enough to crack a persons security passwords on the internet & attain a home address where they can then take your mail & start re routing your life without you ever having knowledge...until it's too late.Your bank accounts are empty.Your credit is maxed out.Cells phone accounts with calls to criminals.Guns registered in you name.Houses & cars in your name some in foreclosure .Children you have enrolled in schools yet you have none .Jobs you never had reported to SS using your number . How did they get all this info?
Why are people so concerned about giving personal information...?
...such as address, birth date, phone number, nationality, and so on? There are so many ways such information could be obtained... just think how much your friends, teachers, coworkers, etc know about you already. Why do all those forms require a privacy clause, why are people so scared?Nooo. I mean that kind of info can be obtained very easily otherwise
Great people this morning on y/a a 9 year old posted a question, she gave alot of personal information?
at least 10 concerned adults gave her a good answer, and then a great lecture on the harm of being on this website or any other website with the information she detailed , Thank you all ,
Is it fair to terminate someone's employment or refuse to hire them based on personal information on websites?
Do you think it's right or wrong to fire someone or deny them employment based on the information gathered on personal websites myspace, face book, etc ? I personally feel that if the person keeps things strictly professional during work hours then it's not any one's right to peep into their personal websites.
How do teachers look at students personal information?
How do teachers look at students personal information. Like they could tell if students have myspaces, facebook, etc. I heard about this and I do not think that this is acceptable. Anyways, how do they look at students personal information?
How much personal information do you reveal about yourself on the Internet?
Yahoo Answers, Facebook, Myspace, or other websites...
Why do people think it's ok to pry and demand personal information of me?
My dad and I discussed how rude people often demand to know if we are wearing contacts, have dentures, or dye our hair, etc. You get the idea. He just tells them " The answer is whatever you need it to be." He thinks their idle curiosity is really a self comparison, as if they are actually asking themselves " How do I stack up?" My sister says " If they can pry, they deserve a lie." I don't have a pat answer. Every time I get blindsided with one of those prying questions, I have conflicting emotions. I could be rude in return, but I suspect that most people who ask impolite personal questions really don't know any better because of their upbringing. Sometimes I realize they are trying, in a clumsy way, to pay me a compliment and don't understand that it feels like I'm being stripped naked instead. I don't want to embarrass them or hurt their feelings, especially since I have to work with them. But on the other hand, if I don't let them know they've made me uncomfortable, they will think it's ok to continue this behavior. Oprah devoted a show to this problem once. I just wish other people would not assume that because they wouldn't mind sharing, doesn't mean every one else feels that way, too. My dream is that congress will enact a Good Boundaries Day
What can you say when someone asked you for personal information?
over the phone....a friend....and you say.." I am not allowed to give that out " ...and your friend says ..." why not" ...so i repeat myself...I am not allowed to give it out...WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER.?...we hung up...
Why do people feel the need to disclose too much personal information to people they don't know?
Particularly information regarding sex. A few minutes ago I was on the elevator with a woman I don't even know. We both greeted one another and then she started talking about the sex she had with her boyfriend yesterday. But this is just one of many cases. I have coworkers I don't even know very well who will just start blatantly talking about what they like and don't like in bed.
USSearch.com - How do I remove myself without giving personal information?
I don't like the idea that someone can pay $40 and get my address, phone no, place of work, etc. Check it out yourself, type your name in and you will come up . To remove yourself from the list, they request your SSN, name, address for last 15 years , birthday, etc. There HAS to be a way to remove yourself from this list without giving away your personal info. Call me paranoid, but I feel like this is a trap.
